Westprop migrates to Vic Falls Stock Exchange
Harare- WESTPROP Holdings Limited has successfully migrated from being a private company to a publicly listed company on the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange,Express Mail Zim can report .
The company’s chairman Michael Louis this week revealed that all statutory and regulatory approvals for the migration have already been met.
“Westprop has received approval to list the two categories of it’s share capital ,namely ,it’s ordinary shares and preference shares and shall accordingly be opening an offer for public subscription of these securities ,” said Louis.
He said the biggest advantage to buying preference shares is that the company underwrites a minimum 7,5 % return per annum on an individual ‘s investment.
Company chief executive Ken Sharpe was ecstatic over the development and encouraged citizens to invest and buy shares and take a stake in the company ‘s journey of a billion bricks
“We have successfully migrated from being a private company to a publicly listed company on the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange. It is with this in mind that I confirm that WestProp Holdings Ltd is now a public company and encourage members of the public, pension funds and investors to invest by buying shares and take up a stake in the company and join us in our journey of a billion bricks.” said Sharpe.
Westprop has been on a massive drive to bring lifestyle housing to Zimbabwe under the mantra “Bringing Dubai to Zimbabwe”.
Sharpe has been interviewed on a Dubai television station where he sold Brand Zimbabwe and encouraged tourists to visit the country.
