Happy new year to all my readers!!!!May all your plans and goals for this year be successful and be blessed by God
As we start the year, everyone has an equal chance and potential to plan and to expand, everyone has the same time to reflect and mend their mistakes, miscalculations and mix-ups and refresh to start again.
As we have believed as Christians, God will never require us to do what He knows He has not equipped us for. Each and one of us has their own potential and we are equipped but differently yet His plans for us will always prevail over our thoughts and goals.
We might not have the same plans in life, but our difference will always lead to the same goal which is Jesus Christ and eternal life so as we plan and make decisions it is equally important to put God first and pray for revelation that will align you to His will upon your life.
I used to think that having big dreams and goals would make me wealthy and I would always pray that I would help the poor and those in need, I used then to admire those who did philanthropic acts at grand scale during disasters and ordinary times alike. And I thought it took me becoming prominent as well to do something for the Lord.
It is only one day that I got a revelation about a certain man in the bible king Saul because he thought if David were to fight, he needed a grand entrance in full armour. But David knew that God didn’t require that.
I began to realise that it doesn’t take becoming prominent or wealthy to help others and It’s really comical how all those who had armour were scared of Goliath, and the boy with a sling and stone was not.
I’m inspired that after I realised all this, things that seemed small in my eyes God added His divinity to them and I started to expand and transform lives. We may not have the grand armour but God showed us that He could still use the small stones to kill the giant.
What the armour could not do, the small stones could so God is not waiting for us to become famous, prominent, or wealthy in order to make acts that are transformative. He’s waiting for us to see the small stones that are so abundant around us, to use those to kill the Goliath of hunger, poverty, demonic oppression, loneliness, nakedness, shame, mental health issues, etc
God will take those things that come to us easily and freely and avail them to Him to make a difference. Those little things that represent the 5 stones are so ample and so readily available.
The Devil and this world has made it difficult for most Christians that when they plan not for the year only, everything from 0-15 or 30 doesn’t directly involve anything to do about God or their spiritual life, yet all these have already been added to us, once we know the secret about the kingdom of God all these things have already been given to us as heirs of Christ.
Today as you correct your mistakes and consider other options for growth this year may God give you the power to see and realise the exact things you need and what is needed to be done according to His will.
Above all consider and put God first that His Glory may shine and manifest upon your Life.
