Ghetto boy Scott Sakupwanya defies odds and hit the big boys Forbes list

His inspiring story of uplifting less privileged people charmed Forbes,coupled with the hard worked reap what he is sowing

Harare- IN a case of  true testimony of grass to grace, Mabvuku bred Pedzai Scott Sakupwanya has hit it on the big list of ‘money guys’.

After his feat of being internationaly recognized as a Top Gold Mining Mogul, Sakupwanya was nominated at the prestigious Fin Forbes Best of Africa Awards for the Business Transformation Leader of the Year this week.

The event will take place in Dubai in April 2025 honoring individuals and organizations that exemplify excellence in their respective fields.

The citation reads:

“Forbes USA and FIN Magazine nominated Hon Scott Sakupwanya. Honorable Scott has an inspiring story, coming from humble beginnings, he has successfully built Betterbrands into a leading group of companies


Sakupwanya has contributed to the community he grew up in and used sport as a unifier especially in Mabvuku where he grew up.

Sakupwanya hàs built a football club Scotland FC  in line with the concept of sport being a unifier  an it has empowered youths who were preoccupied on drugs abuse.
