VP Chiwenga tours Mataga Hospital
Mberengwa- VICE PRESIDENT General (Rtd) Dr Constantino Chiwenga, who is also the Minister of Health and Child Care has Tuesday toured the Mataga Mini Hospital which is part of the priority projects under his portfolio in making sure that all communities across the country have access to quality health care,Express Mail Zim can report.
The hospital underscores government’s commitment for a vibrant health delivery system across all provinces.
It has become the third to be completed after Stoneridge Clinic opened its doors in 2021, followed by Cowdray Park Health Centre commissioned last week by President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
In other developments, the Chimanimani Clinic is expected to be completed soon under the US$210 million health care sector development fund
It will cater for the Mataga and surrounding communities in Mberengwa East.
