Harare- THE Zimbabwe Building Contractors Association (ZBCA), a construction industry giant , is preparing to host its inaugural Regional Construction Summit where vice president Constantino Chiwenga is set to deliver a key note address.
This landmark event, set to take place in the picturesque city of Victoria Falls from November 27 to 30, 2024, is designed to advance the regional industrialization agenda.
Under the theme “Leveraging Investment in Infrastructure as a Catalyst for Economic Growth,” the summit will bring together key stakeholders from the construction sector and influential players across the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
The event aligns with President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa’s vision, as the current SADC Chair, to foster regional cooperation and realize the SADC Agenda 2015-2063, which highlights the critical role of collaboration in achieving sustainable economic growth.

Speaking on the summit, ZBCA Chief Executive Officer Mrs Joyline Zindaga confirmed that registration is now open.
“All is set for the summit and registration is still open for those who wish to attend this milestone event,”she said.
She encouraged participation from captains of industry, government officials, parastatals, and non-state actors, emphasizing the importance of partnerships in driving infrastructure investment.
