Vintage Vibes Family Fun Day: Promoting Mental Wellness for Seniors
A significant community event, the Vintage Vibes Family Fun Day, is set to take place on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, at Everbrite Gardens, located at 70 Gardenia Rd, Lochinvar. This initiative aims to promote mental wellness among senior citizens and their families in the region, highlighting the importance of mental health alongside physical health.
The event will run from 12 PM to 6 PM and features a variety of activities designed to provide mental stimulation and stress relief. Participants can look forward to a comedic performance by Ckhanyiso Dat Guy and live music by Brian Nyahuma, which will include nostalgic tunes from yesteryear.
In addition to entertainment, attendees will benefit from an expert-led talk on mental wellness and opportunities for seniors to share their life stories and experiences. Free health services, such as blood pressure checks and optional breast cancer screenings, will also be available.
The Vintage Vibes Family Fun Day aims to:
