Veteran coach Nelson Matongorere dies
Gaffer suffered a stroke in the line of duty last month
Harare- VETERAN football coach and Caps United technical director has died.
He was 68.
Matongorere was widely regarded as the ‘godfather’ of Coach Education in Zimbabwe and suffered a stroke while on duty in Bulawayo last month.
He had an illustrious career which saw him becoming FIFA coaching instructor and has groomed top notch coaches like Kalisto Pasuwa and Lloyd Chitembwe.
Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
