Harare- Harare based un dancehall music sensation better known with his moniker Hungry Lion Mettalic has set his eyes on the goal and released a new single titled January to December.
The track was produced by versatile producer Wiseman Makonese from Wise Beats based in Glen Norah.
In an interview, Mettalic said he started music in 2018 after being inspired by a colleague named Smarts in Beitbridge.
“I was inspired by Smarts when I worked in Beitbridge and I approached Wise Beats and recorded singles that are based on social commentary .
“I used to sing at high school and in the church choir,” said Mettalic.
Locally , he is inspired by Winky D and with his lyrical prowess he is destined for dizzy heights.
At a time when the dancehall music industry is in a boom, Mettalic said he wants his space in the game and urged promoters to champion the rise of upcoming artistes
