Underage drinking:Police investigate video of minors consuming alcohol
Harare:The identity of the young boys seen drinking alcohol in Harare on camera is the subject of an investigation by the Zimbabwe Republic Police.
The investigations come after public outrage over the disturbing video that was widely circulated on Facebook and WhatsApp on Christmas Day.

“The ZRP has taken note of a viral social media video, especially on Whatsapp platforms where minors (young boys) are openly seen drinking beer in a public place in Harare CBD. Investigations are now underway with a view of identifying the place, the young boys, their parents and the person who might have facilitated the acquisition of the alcohol by the minors,” the police posted on X.
