Sparring : Tyson punches back, set to appeal against High Court blockade on State House occupation bid

Harare- PRESIDENTIAL aspirant Saviour Kasukuwere who was barred Wednesday from contesting in the August 23 Harmonised elections on basis that he Tysonviolated the constitution and electoral act has indicated that he is appealing the ruling and praying for it’s reverse at a Higher Court, ,Express Mail Zim can report.

Veteran journalist and political analyst Stanley Gama revealed Kasukuwere aka Tyson has vowed to appeal to the higher court.

In a tweet,Gama put it that Kasukuwere is appealing to the higher court.

In an interview with Express Mail Zim Wednesday, the veteran journalist confirmed his conversation with Tyson wherein he registered his intention to appeal.

“Yes, I did speak to him and he says he is appealing to the higher court and the battle rages on ,” said Gama.

Tyson is disputing the ruling that he can’t contest in the August 23 harmonised elections on basis that he has been absent from the country for over 18 months rendering him an illegible registered voter.
