Smoking addict arrested for stealing cigarettes
Bulawayo- A 57-year-old smoking addict from Killarney suburb in Bulawayo has been sentenced to an effective four months in prison for stealing cigarette packs from a local supermarket on eight different occasions.
The addict is identified as Cassian Vheremu and he appeared before magistrate Nomagugu Maphosa.
He pleaded guilty for stealing 20packs on different occasions and he was warned to support his habits.
Circumstances are that Vheremu would use use the modus operandi to shove the ciggarates in his jacket.
