‘Slay Queen’ attempt to extort money from city businessman exposed in court

Harare- AN attempt by a Harare ‘slay queen’ ,Cyder Muchemwa to ‘milk’ a Harare bussinesman Norman Zanga has been exposed in court. The businessman revealed details of ‘sour grapes’ in a protection order matter that was before the courts, Express Mail Zim can report.
In her founding affidavit,Muchemwa made sensational claims that the city businessman Zanga was abusing her in a bid to destabilise the operations of his business which include retail and butcheries.
Zanga did not oppose his estranged former lover’s heads of argument in the claimed protection order ,citing that he wanted peace with his legitimate spouse.
“When she realised that I was not fazed with her threats, she maliciously applied for a protection order against me saying I was sending pornographic material to her daughter and a plethora of other accusations.
“I did not oppose to the application for protection as I hoped that it would bring closure to the affair.
“I made it clear in court that I never sent such pictures to her daughter, but it was a matter of sour grapes between us.”
Zanga said he told Muchemwa that he was no longer interested in the affair so that he could concentrate on  his family.
“Now she is making baseless accusations tarnishing my image .
“In one publication she stated that her name was Chipo Muchemwa while in another publication she changed to Cyder Muchemwa,” he said.
Zanga said that Muchemwa attacked his wife, calling her names in a bid to ruin their flourishing marriage.
He said she even went to the extent of using different cellphone numbers to get access to his wife after she blocked her.
“She is just a scorned woman, who is trying to extort money from me. She is well aware that I was happily married when we started this relationship,” he said.
Zanga said he fell in love with Muchemwa sometime in 2019 and he informed her that he was married.
“She said that it was not an issue since she had three kids and was comfortable with the arrangement.
“We started having problems in June 2020 when she started demanding that I was supposed to take care of her kids and pay her bills.
“It was when she started trying to extort money from me and threatening to call my wife,” he said. Efforts to get a comment from Muchemwa were fruitless at the time of writing.
