Six in the City: Mambo’s Chicken celebrates ‘ vanniversary’
Half a dozen years of serving royal meals
Harare- ONE of Zimbabwe’s fast- growing eateries Mambos Chicken , has managed to stand the test of time and is celebrating its sixth annivessary on Valentines’ Day,Express Mail Zim can report.
The fast-food restaurant opened its doors on the 14th of February in 2018 and have grown in leaps and bounds literally capturing social media with their catchy adverts and sumptuous meals.
Just recently they partnered with Zimfest, one the biggest Southern African Arts Festivals, which is held annually in the United Kingdom (UK).
This year’s vanniversary will be a two day event with activities on the the 14th and 17th .
Activities earmarked include service Awards for employees of the popular restraurant,press conference and a lot of games that include but not limited to spin the wheel were clients stand a chance to win meals and other prices courtesy of Mambo’s Chicken.There will also be a DJ on standby for the the day’s entertainment.
The festivities will switch gear on Saturday with STAR FM broadcasting live from Mambo’s Chicken.Thereafter,Gweru born singer-songwriter and acoustic guiterist, Mwenje Mathole ,will serenade the crowd with his distinct,soulful voice.
Mambos strength lies in its popular specialiation in freshly prepared chicken meals, Mambo’s Chicken brings a fusion of both pressure fried and grilled chicken options; signature flavourings of chicken that include mild (Portuguese sauce), lemon and herb, smoky (barbecue) and Mozambican (hot!).
Apparently the Queen Meal is the most popular order (two pieces of chicken and with chips), while the family order dubbed
royal six’ is also popular on month ends according to analysis by local
epicureans of Mambos Chicken.
