Record breaking : Youngest football team manager takes charge at Wangu Mazodze

ZIFA Eastern Region Division One outfit Wangu Mazodze has appointed club owner Richard Mazodze’s eight year old son Richardell as its Assistant Team Manager with immediate effect.
Richardell, who turned eight on January 2 this year, could just be the youngest ever manager of any professional football team in the world.
His appointment comes exactly eight months and 25 days after his eighth birthday.
Policies governing the employment of minors in professional football could not be identified. Both, FIFA’s Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP) and the FIFA Football Agent Regulations do not speak to it.
Wangu Mazodze is sure to make it into the Castle Lager PSL from the Eastern bloc.
