Rapper Cal Vin’s mother seeks closure as police struggle to nab her son ‘s alleged killer , 2 years later
Bulawayo- THE late prolific rapper Cal Vin Hliziyo’s mother has not find closure following police’s delay to arrest the alleged killers of her son, two years ago.
Cal Vin died on this day two years ago. after he was hit by an unknown car that dragged him in Luveve, 100 metres from his house after coming from watching a soccer match at Emakandeni Cricket Club.
His mother Sinikiwe Lupahla told top entertainment online publication Fokus Magazine that she was not happy at the snail’s pace the wheels of justice were rolling at.
“The police have not said anything,they haven’t solved my son’s issue and found the killer.
“This is disappointing,two years later my son”s killer is still out there walking free.What happened to justice in this country,” she was qouted as saying.
A suspect Wilfred Mafuka was ‘caught and released’ under unclear circumstances and he even had the audacity to give police a two weeks ultimatum to release his car that was said to be the ‘killer car’.
National police spokesperson Paul Nyathi confirmed to Fokus Magazine Tuesday that they are still seized with the matter and investigations are still underway.

He was the rapporteur of hip hop music in Matebeleland province and was very outspoken and has at several times ‘dissed’ the adjudication process of local hip hop awards where he was worried about what he deemed ‘tribalism’ d lack of meritocracy.
