Prophet Passion chauffer kills pedestrian
Harare- CONTROVERSIAL clergyman and Zanu PF loyalist Passion Java’s chauffer identified as Courage Gweshira fatally ran over a pedestrian along Seke Road Tuesday afternoon,Express Mail Zim has learnt.
The woman believed to be in her early 20s, died on the spot with speculative reports suggesting that Passion was part of the entourage and fled from the scene.
Preliminary investigations by police have however not established how Passion is linked to the fatal road traffic accident.
“The ZRP confirms a fatal road accident which occurred today at around 1208 hours along Seke Road near Zuva service station when a BMW X6 vehicle which was traveling towards Chitungwiza hit a woman age +/-20 who was trying to cross the road West to East,” read a police statement.
Police spokesperson Paul Nyati was quoted by a local radio station stating that Passion was not linked thus far.
Express Mail Zim understands that Passion arrived in the country Tuesday after a business trip in Tanzania.
The vehicle in question is however part of his entourage and it is usually parked at the entrance of Rainbow Towers.
Passion did not respond to questions sent to him at the time of writing while his manager Boss Lashaan was also not reachable. His right hand man Israel Matthew’s phone went unanswered.
Meanwhile, cash rich socialite and Passion’s associate Uncle Rolen (Muchegwa) took to social media and condemned Passion ,if it turns out that he indeed fled from the scene of the accident.
He threatened to take his cars away from Passion – a development that throws shade on the clergyman’s claims that he owns a fleet of luxurious cars in and out of Zimbabwe.
Uncle Rolen owns a fleet of cars and is infact the brains behind Hwindi Taxis which is modelled along the lines of South Africa’s Uber.
