Police seized with ‘O- level’ Maths exam paper leak

Harare- THE ZIMBABWE Republic Police is seized with investigations on the perpetrators behind the leak of the Ordinary Level Mathematics paper, Express Mail Zim can report.

Government and police have identified candidates who had pre-access to the paper.

” The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council would like to alert all its valued stakeholders that
reports have been received that there are candidates who had pre-access to the Ordinary Level Mathematics Paper which was written this morning on 18 October 2022
“ZIMSEC, the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, and the Zimbabwe Republic Police are investigating the leakage and have already identified some candidates who had pre-access to the question paper and are currently tracking down the sources where the paper originated.

“The extent of the leakage is yet to be ascertained, of which the relevant authorities will make an informed decision on the administration of this paper;” read part of Zimsec statement.

This is not the first time that such has occurred with an isolated case of former Marondera based education minister taking his life after a leak of the grade 7exam paper.

Zimbabwe ranks as one of the best countries with a high literacy rate but this precedence is tainting the image.
