Officer Commanding Police Harare Central District Chief Supritended G Moyo this week said the date of the event coincided with the hosting of the 44th SADC Summit to be held in Harare.
“Please be kindly advised that it has been noted that the period of your event coincides with the holding of a national event (SADC Summit) in Harare.
” In light of that development, you are kindly advised to re-schedule your event to a later date.
“Your cooperation with the police flowing the development will be greatly appreciated,” wrote Chief Supritended Moyo.
ZIMURA’s primary role as is to administer the rights of all music creators by granting Copyright Music Licenses to businesses that would like to commercially use musical works by way of broadcasting or making available to the general public.
Members pay an annual subscription fee but lately some local musicians lamented over non-remmitance of royalties by the organisation led by Polisiwe Ncube-Chimhini.
