Pearl Thusi ‘pulls a middle finger’ at critics over Zim visit
Pretoria- South African actress Pearl Thuli has defended her visit to Zimbabwe and meeting President Emmerson Mnangagwa amid a barrage of criticism on social media,Express Mail Zim can report.
Thuli categorically stated her lack of regret on her visit and said it was non-political.
She shared her sentiments live on Instagram this week
“For those people who made it look like a political trip, those people are the ones who punished the three of us, who were told we are going there for good times and tourism. I had a good time, and I don’t have any regrets whatsoever. I don’t regret a thing, so all the best to you guys. I had a scarf. What was I supposed to do? The president gave me a scarf. I took the scarf,” she said.
She emphasized that the trip was never intended to be political, and she embraced it as a memorable and enjoyable journey.
