Pastor Chris Warns Zimbabweans Against March 31 protests

Lagos- Pastor Chris Oyakhiliyome, founder of Christ Embassy, has urged Zimbabweans to exercise caution and refrain from participating in the planned March 31 protests.
According to Pastor Chris, the protests are likely to turn violent, and he has advised citizens to pray and fast for their nation instead.
“Fast for your country, the protests are not going to be peaceful, do not let that happen. It’s not going to be peaceful,” he warned.
Pastor Chris also cautioned Zimbabweans not to be deceived, saying “do not be fooled.
Do not let it happen.” This is not the first time Pastor Chris has weighed in on Zimbabwean politics; he previously spoke out before the 2017 coup.
The planned protests are reportedly backed by war veteran Blessed Bombshell Geza, who has been calling for President Mnangagwa’s resignation, accusing him of corruption and nepotism, among other issues .
