Oceans Perfume co-founder Blessing Mashangwa dies

South Africa- BUSINESSWOMAN and Oceans Perfume co- founder Blessing Mashangwa (nee Munzvongwi) has died.

She was 43.

According to family sources who spoke to Express Mail Zim Friday night, she died at a South African hospital.

Mashangwa had relocated to South Africa and started another fragrance line after her messy divorce with Upenyu.

The cause of her death could not be immediately ascertained but this publication understands that she had a long illness and also had mental health issues and suspected bipolar.

The level of her mental health illness compelled her to post nude videos to Prophet Jay Israel and she also file a sensational lawsuit of US$1 million lawsuit to Prophet Makandiwa for an alleged false prophecy.

After she divorced her husband Upenyu Mashangwa, the couple sold their Borrowdale Brook house and Upenyu had to find refugee at a friend’s place in Malborough.

On the her last days on earth, Blessing lived a controversial lifestyle which was mainly triggered by the collapse of Oceans Perfume which affected the couple’s lavish lifestyle.

She grew up in Chitungwiza and her father was a wealthy businessman in the automotive industry with a popular workshop located along Mutare road.

Her life went haywire when business went down and the couple had to move from church to church seeking divine intervention.
However, with the zeal to regain and maintain their flashy lifestyle, they ended up finding themselves at the wrong side of the law.
After leaving UFIC under controversial circumstances, they joined PHD Ministries where Blessing and Upenyu connived to dupe Magaya of a Landrover Discovery 4 vehicle in a botched car import deal that was however swept under the carpet but this reporter is privy to the information thereof.

Blessing is survived with three children and funeral arrangements have not yet been released but her lifeless body’s repatriation is expected this weekend.
