NSS renovation forces three-week suspension of PSL matches
Harare- Premier Soccer League (PSL) has suspended all top flight matches owing to the maintenance work currently underway at the National Sports Stadium (NSS).
In a communique released Wednesday PSL communications and medial liason officer Kudzai Bare said league action will resume on July 1.
“This serves to advise that Castle Lager Premier Soccer League is taking a break with immediate effect and will resume on July 1 2023.
“This has been neccesitated by the maintenance work on water reticulation being carried out at NSS and to allow the playing field to regenerate.
“We also expect refurbishment works at Rufaro, Nyamhunga and Sakubva stadia to be completed before we resume action ” wrote Bare .
NSS provides home for eight teams in the top flight league.
