Musician Trevor Dongo threatens to kill self over “toxic rumours”
This follows his loss of property in an inferno
Harare- CELEBRATED rhythm and blues musician Trevor Dongo has threatened to commit suicide of what he calls “toxic rumours” that went viral on social media last week alleging that his flat was set ablaze by a jilted lover.
He wrote:
“The level of toxicity that drives some bloggers and journalists these days is insane. I’m slowly starting to accept reality that’s why I had to gather up a bit of strength to type this message. Fabricated stories are circulating, different versions for the sake of getting likes and tarnish my image but avo vane information yakakwana are the closest kwandiri, zvimwe zvese wonai nekunyeperwa for the sake of monetization ye social media.”
He said lost things that took me years to build, furniture, clothes, shoes, studio equipment, company documents.

“lam in serious pain I’ve been a good father and friend. My life is ruined but I would like to thank friends and relatives that are genuine.
