Musician Chipo Muchegwa ropes in Terry G to ‘re-ignite’ her love life

Harare- CONTEMPORARY musician Chipo Muchegwa has roped in the Midas Touch of Terrence “Terry G” Green in a love song titled Ndezve Rudo. The collaboration is the first between the two artistes and the rich lyrical content resonates with the duo’s love life in real life.
The duo released a well choregraphed video shot in location in Harare and has received rave reviews on You Tube.
The video was produced by the talismanic SAP studios and the visuals are pregnant with good aesthetics and colourful.
Recently , Muchegwa hogged the limelight after it emerged that fellow artiste Sniper Storm was neglecting their love child dampening her love life ,but in the song she proved that she has found love again through her deep appreciation of passion in relationships.
“Ndezvemoyo kusvika kumagumo (Love till eternity),” she sings in her mellow voice.
Terry G said their collaboration was meant to show the world that it took talent to produce good content and not one’s physical being.
“What motivated us to collaborate was that people do not believe people with disability have feelings or they want to be loved.That is why we decided to collaborate on a love track,”he said.
He said the single was based on a true story and it was a matter of art mirroring reality.
Muchegwa has been basking in the glory of endorsements and she is on the verge of clinching a deal with NBS who recently donated an electric wheelchair to her at a glamorous event .
Her manager Donald Ganyaupfu said he was optimistic that Muchegwa was now ripe for a bigger stage.
“Well, Chipo (Muchegwa) is not only talented but is a hard worker and goal-getter.If she sets her eyes on a prize she goes for it and we are only there to support her because we believe in her.
“She is also a role model for people with disability and dispels notion that they can’t shine,” said Ganyaupfu.
He said they had more projects in the offing .
