MOONLIGHT Funeral Assurance Rolls Out Student Group Funeral Cover

Harare- LOCAL funeral assurance company Moonlight Assurance has stepped up its game and embarked on supporting tertiary institutions.

Moonlight Funeral Assurance has rolled out a new policy aimed at supporting students from primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions.

This was revealed last week during the funeral service for the late Sean Chimusiye (13) years who was struck by lightning while playing at school.

As part of the student policy, Moonlight provided support at the funeral as part of its student policy and gave back to the community as part of its social responsibility.

Director Services Moonlight Funeral Assurance Charity Mungofa “nee” Masango told iHarare that they are happy to roll out the student policy to assist children.

“As we partner with schools and institutions of higher learning we need to reduce the burden on the school as we assist them during the grieving time. We will provide cashback, transport, and other things that will be required during the funeral. However, we are very saddened to roll out as we have supported the funeral of the 13 years Morgan High School. As Moonlight we need to carry the burden for the community and the country as part of this we are dedicated to partner schools for that we work together during hard times,” said Mrs Masango.

Morgan is one of the partners of Moonlight and they have a lasting relationship and are dedicated to supporting the community.

A representative from Morgan High school thanked Moonlight for the love that they demonstrated during their students’ funeral.

“We want to take this opportunity to thank our partner Moonlight for the love they have reflected during these hard times,” she said.

Moonlight Funeral assurance is one of Zimbabwe’s leading and oldest home-grown funeral assurers. It has several subsidiaries that include Mashfords Funeral services, Executive Funeral Services and DJ Davies a Coffin/ Casket manufacturing plant located in Mutare.
