Missing Harare teacher found dead in a maize field
Harare- THE missing Harare teacher Josephine Magdalene Mandivei was found dead Friday in a maize field in Budiriro,Express Mail Zim can report.
According to sources Mandivei left home in Budiriro (kumaCabs) for work last week and advised her maid that she was working late and was never to return home.
“She told her maid that she was working late and she left her three month old baby.
“She did not come back home forcing the family to raise alarm and send notices on social media,” narrated a neighbour who preferred anonymity.
Workmates said earlier ,she called the school head advising that she was coming in late since her maid was not there.
This incoherent submissions gave rise to possibility of a suicide buttressed by reports that her marriage was on the rocks.
“She has not been in good books with her husband lately.
“He has been abusive and she opened up recently.all along she has been bottling emotions and did not share,” said a workmate who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Police spokesperson Paul Nyathi was not available for official confirmation at the time of writing but inside police sources told Express Mail Zim that they rule out robbery motives.
“She was found with her handbag which contained US$5 and her cellphone therefore ruling out a motive of robbery.
*We treat it as homicide but the intention of motive was not to rob,” said our inside source.
Other conspiracy theories suggested that she might have had a fall out with thuggish parents over extra lessons fees although this speculation seems rather far fetched .
The husband identified as David Mupanganyemba is employed by the Zimbabwe National Road Authority (Zinara) and his mobile number was unreachable at the time of writing.
