Marondera bred chanter Golly Keed destined for stardom

Marondera – MARONDERA bred teenage chanter Golly Keed (real name Bright Mupazviriwo) has set his eyes on the ball and has put the metal on the pedal in his music career.

The 17-year old artiste has released a single titled Takanomatcher Saladic.

The track is pregnant with creative lyrics, well choreographed instrumentation and inimitable vocal delivery.

“I have a passion for hip hop music and I believe Zimbabwe has got talent.

“My music is inspired by things that happen in the society and I use art as a tool for social change,” said Golly Keed also known as Uncle Gee.

Lately, the local musical landscape has churned out a lot of talent and the National Arts Council has put effort to set up programmes that serve as an impetus to the growth of the sector.
