Macheso drops fifth track off Kupa Kuturika album

Titled "Hunhu Hwakashata" which can be loosely translated to "bad behaviour" .... hopefully his fans will display good behaviour and embrace the superstar's new offering unlike last time!

Harare-SUNGURA music stalwart Alick Macheso has dropped the fifth track of the album” Kupa Kuturika”

Titled “Hunhu Hwakashata”, the song was produced by Bothwell Nyamhondera at Alema Studios in Chitungwiza.

Loosely translated, the title means “bad behaviour” and hopefully his fans will display good behaviour and embrace the superstar’s new offering!

The song was released Monday mid-morning and is already under the microscope although logically,it’s too early for one a critic to give a judgement.

Considering that a lot of aspects including vocal delivery, instrumentation and mixing are expected to be analysed to come up with a balanced judgement devoid of emotion and inherent good or bad perception.

The other tracks released so far include “Kuverengera”, “Undiregererewo”, “Zvichada Hamakandipisa, “Murangarire” and “Kunditaya”.

The ace sungura musician has been the steward of Orchestra Mberikwazvo for a period surpassing a ‘silver jubilee’ since his amicable divorce with Madzibaba Nicholas Zakaria’s Khiama Boys.

Throughout the years, his lyrical content has been characterized with deep social commentary laden with idioms that needs listeners to read between the lines.

With all the hullabaloo created over his previous tracks dividing the nation, let’s wait to find out what his ‘customers’ (fans) have to say on the last bun from the oven!
