Johannesburg – There is sweet news for local football lovers as SABC has announced the successful acquisition of rights to the English Premier League (EPL).
An independent survey by Express Mail Zim established that most local international /regional satellite television viewers do not afford the premium bouquets due to the hyperinflationary economic environment , hence this development is a sigh of relief.
” SABC is pleased to announce the acquisition of the world’s most followed football league, The English Premier League broadcasting rights,” read part of the statement.
