Just In:Govt lifts suspension on Zebra Kiss’ operators licence, Rimbi left in the cold
Harare- GOVERNMENT has lifted the suspension of operators licence for Zebra Kiss bus operator with immediate effect ,Express Mail Zim can report.
This follows a suspension effected last week along with Rimbi Travel and Tours after a fatal accident that occured along the Harare-Nyamapanda Highway at the 160km after the driver of a Rimbi Tours coach tried to overtake a Zebra Kiss bus before hitting the rear end of the tipper truck which was also travelling in the same direction.
Zebra Kiss will resume operations after authorities were satisfied that the operator was fully compliant with terms of the law.
The company applied corrective measures and ensured that they are in a position to resume operations without breach of the terms and conditions under which their licences were issued.
The other ‘casualty’ Rimbi Travel and Tours remains on suspension as they are yet to meet set standard of corrective measures.
