Just In: Former Info minister Mushohwe dies
Harare- FORMER Information minister and executive director of the Presidential and National Scholarships Chris Mushohwe has died, Express Mail Zim has learnt.
Mushohwe played the role of government ‘s equivalent of Adolf Hitler’s Joseph Goebbels during his tenure in the First Republic and had the luxury of staying at State House residences.
This was before the Second Republic took over through a military intervention and removed “criminals surrounding President Mugabe” to restore order.
He however helped a lot of children of loyal cadres to get scholarships at Fort Hare University where the late former president Robert Mugabe learnt.
His demise was confirmed by
Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Permanent Secretary Nick Mnangagwa .
