Janet Manyowa postpones album launch , mega event in the offing
Harare- MULTIPLE award- winning gospel singer Janet Manyowa has postponed the launch date of her fourth album and set July 22 as the new date at 7 Arts theater.
In a statement ,Manyowa’s manager Munyaradzi Manyowa said the postponement was due to unforseeable circumstances but promised an event pregnant with grandeur.
The album is titled Father’s House and she roped in the Midas Touch of veteran poet and musician Albert Nyathi.
Tracks to look out for include Shoko Tengu. Shandurai,Jesu Makanaka and Be Blessed Be your name featuring Bonnie Deuschle.
“We have surprise great musicians on the line up , there is a lot of excitement especially on the track titled Dry Bones,” said Munyaradzi who is also the songtress’ husband .
Janet has managed to carve a niche market with her angelic and inimitable vocal ability.
