Gospel Outfit Firm Faith Courts Corporate World to Push the Word of God
Harare- HIGH flying acapella gospel music group Firm Faith Zimbabwe recently hosted an over subscribed dinner in Harare.
Group founder and music director Marshal Matsilele said the main focus of the dinner was to reach out to the business sector and to lay-out their 2025 plans.
Matsilele said the business community was not always easy to reach out to hence the dinner provided them with a perfect opportunity to engage them and lure them to join hands with Firm Faith in advancing the gospel through music.
“The main focus is to reach out to the business community and now we will be reaching them through this dinner.This is one of the communities that is hard to reach during our concerts or church services.
“Your presence here tonight attest to the confidence you have in us and our ability and dedication to steer God’s work,” said Matsilele addressing guests.
In his address Matsilele said this year 2025 Firm Faith has a number of activities and plans that they want to do.
“Last year we were very much disappointed that we failed to go to Nigeria, we had been invited to sing during the Pan African Congress representing SADC, we couldn’t find enough resources to go there.
“We are kindly appealing to you our stakeholders to come on board and work with us, we are in this together when we knock on your doors please answer us we need your assistance,” pleaded Matsilele.
“Our group has become more of a family group our desire is to travell together as one big Firm Faith family when we go to our commitments. We want a mini bus.
Sometimes we use more than 10 cars its not ecenomic and sometimes others will be left behind failing to be on time for the program. A mini bus will go a long we will travel together and we will not miss any program.
“This is not business this is ministry, we can not do this alone we need partners”, said Matsilele.
“Next year 2026 Firm Faith will be turning 20 years and we have already started preparing for an album, for our 20th anniversary again this also requres resources
“Among Firm Faith members we have a number of proffesionals and this year we are planning to host a mega career day were we will be impacting our skills and expectise to young people across the country.
“We can all agree that as a country we are in trouble a number of young people are into drugs this will be our small way of fighting this problem among our youths.
“Last but not least we are going to take our recent album “Munesimba” to firslty Zambia then South Africa,” he said.
He continued “Let me assure you that your generous donations that you always give us will always be utilised prudently for the benefit of millions of people who love our music, as i said this is ministry and it will remain a ministry.
“We are hearing so many testimonies from people people are being blessed and this encouragies us, ” added Matsilele.
Speaking while joining Matsilele on stage one of the group founder member Peamer Maponga -Tanhara hiped prases for Matsilele describing him as a great leader with stubbon faith.
“The man you are seeing here in front is no ordinray all these years that i have been singing with him he has demosrated strong and unwevering faith, he has firm faith and thank you all for keeping on supporting us,”she said.
Weighing in Wadzanai Moyo who organised the dinner said as a group they do not take the support that they get form both their funs and stakehilders for granted.
“My director said it all we are nothing without you but we thank God because He is the one who enables us to do all this,” said Wadzanai
Seventh -Day Adventist Church pastors that include senior pastor Fanukai Mbiriri, Claudous Makiwa and Brian Moyo took turns to motivate, repremand, giving advise and pray for the group members and their families.
One of the people who attened the dinner said “It was a big night for us enterprenuers, we will continues to work with Firm Faith. We thank them for the food and everything that they have do e for us today.
“It was also a chance to see great fashion, people are looking great today”.
Firm Faith youngest member only identified as Ndomuda sang a powerful song lighting up the event.
