Former VP Mphoko dies,aged 84
In what appears like a premonition of his demise, he facilitated the releases of his son from the jaws of prison where he was incarcerated on rape charges and also timeously shelled off his stake in Choppies
Harare- FORMER Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko has died .
He was aged of 84.
The Deputy Chief Secretary-Presidential Communications in the Office of the President of Zimbabwe confirmed the development.
Mpoko died within a week after he shelled off his retail business interest Choppies.
Interestingly it was also a month after he armtwisted the judicial delivery system to let free his son who was ‘framed’ for rape and sentences to 20 years in prison.
It appears like a premonition of his demise .
