Former Tel One boss Mtasa appointed Mutapa board chair
Harare- PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has on Monday appointed former Tel One managing director Chipo Mtasa as chairperson of Mutapa, the country’s sovereign wealth fund board.
The board consists of revered technocrats
namely Lesley Ndlovu, chief executive of African Risk Capacity (ARC), an agency of the African , Union, brand strategist Thembelihle Khumalo, top lawyer Farai Mutamangira, former Zimbabwe Stock Exchang chair Bart Mswaka, veteran banker Charity Jinya and Canadian fund manager Prassad Bhamre.
The original Sovereign Wealth Fund, created in 2014, was designed to build up a portfolio of State-owned investments for the benefit of future investments.
