Former Dembare boss Kenny Mubaiwa blocks daughter’s reccomended forearm amputation, lacks faith in local health delivery system

 

Harare- FORMER Dynamos Football Club boss and prominent businessman Kenny Mubaiwa has reportedly  blocked medical doctors’ recommendations to have his daughter Marry’ s forearm amputation, Express  has Mail Zimlearnt.

Marry is estranged wife to Vice President Constantino Chiwenga.

Family sources told Express Mail Zim that Mubaiwa led the family in refusing to authorise the amputation that was meant to be carried out at a local hospital.

“Mubaiwa told a family meeting that he was not comfortable to have his daughter amputated locally because he does not trust the health delivery system and prefers South Africa,” said the family source.
Unfortunately, the former Second Lady cannot leave the country as her passport is still being held by the courts as part of her bail conditions in pending court cases.

The stylish businessman’s mobile phone was not reachable at the time of writing.
Last Friday, magistrate Feresi Chakanyuka issued a warrant of arrest on Marry, whose life has not been merry since her divorce with Chiwenga.
She absconded court due to poor health and her lawyer Beatrice Mtetwa advised that she (Marry) was critically ill.Zim has learnt. Marry is estranged wife to Vice President Constantino Chiwenga.
