Former Africa Sun boss Munyeza loses US$85 000 debt row @ the High Court

Harare- PINT sized businessman Shingi Munyeza and wife Wilma have lost a US$85 000 debt wrangle pitting the power couple against firebrand former Seedco communications boss Merjury Mutemererwa,Express Mail Zim can report.

The former Africa Sun boss and cleric allegedly connived with his wife to willfully neglect repayment of a US$85 000 loan extended by Mutemerwa, who revealed on court record that she sacrificed part of her severance package and duly made a payment of US$ 85 000 to the couple in an agreement that was in black and white.

After futile negotiations for repayment, she had to take the legal route after the couple failed to settle without submitting plausible reasons or request of ‘grace period’ or repayment plan.

The matter was reported to the cops on March 3 2023 and Mutemererwa did not mince her words with any iota of an
inch to express her dismay.

She lamented over the couple’s lack of empathy after she lost her sole son in a freak accident.

” Shingi and Wilma Munyeza are aware that I am grieving my only son.

“Their wickedness and unkindness are painful. They conned me,” said Mutemererwa.

She further stated under oath that the couple ought to be exposed so that other people are not duped.

“People who have been duped by these two were quite, only now others are telling me about their experiences,” she said insinuating that the couple abuse their social standing and influence to prey on unsuspecting individuals especially those from church.
