Exclusive: Passion Java, Chimombe in trouble over hotel scuffle coupled with allegations of robbing 18k from a local businessman
Violence triggered by suspicion of dating 'same girl' socialite Hillary Makaya

Harare- Celebrated clergyman Passion Java and controversial businessman Mike Chimombe are in the eye of a storm and said to be non-law abiding citizens following allegations that the duo was involved in a violent incident at Rainbow Towers Wednesday night,Express Mail Zim can exclusively reveal.
Java and Chimombe (who is no stranger to violence after his documented Mashonaland West terror) allegedly hired goons to pounce on a local businessman (name withheld) and the temperemental Chimombe is said to have bellowed like a bull in a China shop (synonymous to his surname) and pulled a gun threatening to shoot the businessman’s security detail.
The goons are said to have bashed the businessman before robbing him of US$18 000 and the shenanigans are documented and captured on the hotel’s CCTV.
A police report has since been lodged against the two at Harare Central Police Station under IR 030777.
Express Mail Zim understands that the microcosm of the macrocosm is socialite Hillary Makaya whom Java has a fetish for and accused the businessman of snatching her from him although he is married to Lily Java – a woman of repute and honour!
Apparently , this publication understands that the vivacious beau Hillary and the businessman were exhibiting public display of affection (PDA) on social media and this irked the married Java who recently paid a courtesy call on President Mnangagwa.
” Chimombe pulled the gun after the businessman labelled him broke after his mining claims are not producing gold.
“Over 30 hired goons attacked the businessman and his team and several witnesses including Obadiah Musindo witnessed the incident.
“He had to seek refuge into the toilet before he was taken to hospital for treatment together with his guards,” said our source who preffered anonymity.
Sources told this publication that the matter has reached the Office of the President and Cabinet as all the parties are affiliated to the high offices assumably as progressive youths.
Java and Chimombe were both not reachable for comment at the time of writing neither was Hillary.
