Dreams Nightlife property goes under the hammer
Harare- THE empire that the late businessman Genius ‘Ginimbi’ Kadungure built is teetering on the brink of collapse following massive mismanagement by his siblings who took over the estate,Express Mail Zim can report.
Express Mail Zim can report that the property at the upmarket night club Dreams Nightlife is going under the hammer Tuesday and the mandate was given to Kaftin Auctioneers.
In a notice , Kaftin confirmed that they received instructions from Dreams directors to auction an assortment of furniture including shisha heads and pipes, bar freezers, aluminum doors, cold room , sound system among other equipment.
One of the surviving directors is Nelia Kadungure, his (Ginimbi)’s youngest sisters and the other director Juliet was recently involved in a fatal road accident me.
“It’s sad that the girls failed to maintain the legacy.
“Genius died with his business acumen and he girls should have worked with Kit Kat (Nomatter Zinyengerere) because he knew the operations and mode of of their business,” said an insider.
A few months before his demise, Ginimbi had engaged the expertise of Dr Peter Gwaza of Natec Arms and set up a security company that also went under.
At its peak, Dreams was talk of the town and played host to big high profile events but the dream was shattered.
Qouting American rapper The Game , shattered dreams are part of the proccess in life.
” Alliyah had a dream ,Left Eye had a dream…..,” he sang.
Ginimbi too had a dream…..that was shattered at a tender age!
