Doves Holdings partners Real Betis Academy in football Festival
The festival was held at Morris Depot last weekend and Farai Matsika, chief executive at Doves Holding said the company 's official partnership with Real Betis at the festival is a statement of commitment to roll out services and products to the diaspora market
Harare – DOVES Holdings Zimbabwe has maintained its commiment and sponsorship deal entered into with La Liga club Real Betis in 2021.
The Zimbabwean funeral assurance company was the official partner of the Football Festival hosted by Real Betis Academy at Morris Depot over the weekend.
Other partners included Firstlink, Faramats Motors, Active Sports Drink, Gerald Sibanda Foundation and House and Home.
Since 2021, Real Betis has continued to strengthen its presence in Africa through such partnerships with leading local brands like Doves Holdings.
The Spanish team first took its brand in the country in 2020 when they opened an international academy in Harare.
The academy also has a satellite branch in Bulawayo.
Betis general business manager Gerald Sibanda reflected on the deal, saying :
“We are very happy for our agreement with Doves Holdings and continued engagement .
“We want to reinforce our presence and image in Africa and Doves is a great partner to do so in Zimbabwe.
Farai Matsika, chief executive at Doves Holding said the company ‘s partnership with Real Betis is a statement of intent on their part.
“At Doves, we are ready to take on the global market through our products and services.
“We have been in Zimbabwe for over a century. Our journey into the global market began in 2012 with the launch of Zororo Phumulani in South Africa powered by Doves Zimbabwe.
“We will be rolling out exciting products predominantly for the diaspora market anchored on and powered by Doves Zimbabwe,”said Matsika.
The weekend football festival was headlined by exciting football and stiff competition on all participating teams.
