Dinson Iron and Steel Refutes allegations of deaths at the steel plant
Management says they have not recorded any work related fatality since the beginning of the project

MVUMA- FOLLOWING news reports from some sections of the media on the purported death of employees at Dinson Iron and Steel due to suffocation, the steel plant management has has refuted the allegations.
In a statement released Monday, Dinson Iron and Steel Plant management,categorically denied the allegations and described them as unfounded and baseless.
“The company wishes to unreservedly express that these unfounded allegations are baseless and intended to cause disinformation.For the record our company has not recorded any work related fatality since the beginning of the project and for a project of this magnitude, it is a

commendable safety record” reads statement from Dinson Iron and Steel Plant management.
“The government, in response of the tweets and news agencies reports , it has dispatched several safety agencies including NSSA to investigate the allegation and on their reports, have all found the aforesaid allegations to be grossly untrue and baseless,” read part of the statement.
The multi billion steel plant has assured the public that the deaths claims are entirely unfounded and without merit .
According to Dinson Iron and Steel management, it says that the top priority of the organization is the well being of its employees, stakeholders, community and the general public. The organization, according to its values , says it has an open door policy to anyone who wishes to understand more about its operations and it has decided to take legal action against the peddlers of falsehood.
Dinson Iron and Steel company which is a 12 billion investment created thousands of jobs to to the local communities which includes Mushenjere village, Nyikavanhu and surrounding Mvuma community.
