Corporates Urged to Support Children’s Homes
The appeal serves as a call to action for corporates to join forces with organizations like Chidziva's trust, working together towards a brighter future for Zimbabwe's next generations.
Harare, Zimbabwe – Renowned philanthropist Chido Chidziva has made a passionate appeal to corporates to include children’s homes in their corporate social responsibility initiatives. This call to action coincides with the 2024 Day of the African Child, which emphasizes the importance of education for all children in Africa.
During her visit to a local children’s home in Mbare, Harare, Chidziva celebrated the Africa Day of the African Child alongside the children. She emphasized the need for collective effort in the fight against poverty, stating, “Together, we can achieve more with the support of corporates. Let us work together to make a meaningful impact in the lives of these vulnerable children.”
Chidziva’s trust(Chido Chevasikana) has been dedicated to supporting children across Zimbabwe, but she acknowledges the vast need for collaboration with corporates to amplify the impact. “Children suffer the most in poverty-stricken situations, and it is our responsibility to ensure they receive the support they need to thrive,” she emphasized.
The appeal serves as a call to action for corporates to join forces with organizations like Chidziva’s trust, working together towards a brighter future for Zimbabwe’s next generations. By supporting children’s education and well-being, we can build a more resilient and prosperous society for all.
