Concorted ‘Kodak moments’ expose Old Mutual insurance fraudster

Mutare- CONCORTED images have exposed an alleged insurance fraudster after he claimed funds from Old Mutual in a staged road accident that has spilled to the court ,Express Mail Zim can report.

Circumstances are that in May last year, one Munyaradzi Ramhewa made insurance claims of a purported road accident involving his VW Touareg and lied through his teeth that a staggering US$90 000 was the claim fee.

In pursuit of his alleged scheme, he approached two panel beaters Henrics Donga and Lloyd Makuzwa on misrepresentation that his car was involved in an accident.

He allegedly coerced the panel beaters and convinced them to act in connivance in defrauding Old Mutual and his con -trick paid off and funds were proccessed.

According to court records, inquisitive Old Mutual loss control team intercepted the attempted insurance fraud after rigorous viewing of the images of the vehicle which had a discrepancy with pictures sent by the towing company leading to the alleged insurance fraudster ‘s arrest and subsequent court appearance.
