Chiyangwa’s son bashes city businessman Katanha for flirting with his sister

Harare- FLAMBOYANT businessman Philip Chiyangwa’s son Brian bashed his friend and businessman Patson Katanha Friday after the city businessman allegedly flirted with his sister and got cozy with her in his presence, Express Mail Zim can reveal.

The incident occured at Patson’s upmarket watering hole called Palm Tree located in Bluff Hill, where he reportedly got cozy with Brian’s sister, prompting the Chiyangwa boy to thoroughly beat him up for disrespecting him.

“Patson and Brian (Chiyangwa) are friends and close like brothers and Brian was not happy when he learnt that Patson snitched on him and asked his sister out behind his back.
“He was further nauseated when Patson went on to get cozy with his sister in his presence when they were having lunch at his (Patson)’s joint in Bluff Hill,” narrated our source.

Patson is not new to drama, he once refused to vacate Globe Trotter, a joint located along Old Mazowe Road after being given an eviction order.

Express Mail Zim contacted Brian and he confirmed hitting the lights out of Boss Patson as he is affectionately known in his circles.

“I respect Patson as a brother but I had no option but to beat him up after he disrespected me with my sister.
“How could he openly sit on a table next to me holding my sister.
“I lost my temper and hit him,” said Brian.

Patson could noy be reached for comment at the time of writing.

He did not pick up his phone nor respond to messages sent to him.

Eyewitnesses told Express Mail Zim that Patson tried to resist but he was no match for the strongly built Brian who unleashed flying kicks on him.
Interestingly, his father was once a boxing promoter!

“Patson is known for being a great fighter in the club circles for a long time , but he was butchered.
“Remember when he ran Globe Trotter he would pounce in rowdy revellers but in this case he was out of form.
“Brian was lucky that Patson did not play the Mike Tyson earbite on Holyfield because he does not accept defeat.
“He is a fighter , even in his business, he rises and falls but never backs down,” said our source who was at the scene and is an acquaintance to the businessman who has penchant for gold chains and bling.
