Breaking : Businessman Makoni survives robbery attempt, top cop’s vehicle spotted as part of the gang’s entourage
Intrestingly, Makoni was arrested ,detained for making the report
Harare- LOCAL businessman Clark Makoni escaped a robbery attempt Wednesday night but was arbitrarily arrested and detained in police cells at Juru, Express Mail Zim can report.
A top cop Officer Commanding Harare province Assistant Commisioner Wonder Tembo ‘s vehicle is alleged to be one of the cars used in the dramatic attack.
“When I went to report the attempted robbery,I was the one who was arrested.
“What is going on with the police, one of the robbers’cars belongs to Commisioner Tembo.,I need an explanation,” fumed Makoni in a Facebook live posted Thursday .
Intrestingly, Makoni had all his possessions in the holding cell including two mobile phones and a bag stashed with an undiclosed amount of cash raises questions on why a suspect did not book personal belongings in the detention book (DB)as per protocol.

Police spokesperson Paul Nyati could not be reached for comment although efforts are still underway by Express Mail Zim.
