WARRIORS International Marvelous Nakamba is set to complete his move from Aston Villa before the end of the transfer window Tuesday,Express Mail Zim has heard.
West Brom Albion (Baggies) were the first to show interest in Nakamba but now the uncertainty in the player’s next move is now over following confirmation that the Warriors midfielder is expected to go for medicals at Championship side Luton Town FC after the clubs agreed on a loan deal.
Nakamba’s future was hanging in limbo after Aston Villa coach Unai Emery made it clear to Nakamba that he was not in his plans and was free to leave this mid season transfer window.
Nakamba has not played any competitive game this season with his last appearance for the Clarets and Blue was on the final day of the season [2021/22] against Man City.
Nakamba’s contract is set to expire in June 2024 after arriving at Villa Park from Club Brugge in 2019 following the club’s promotion back to the Premier League.
