Ask what you can do for your country: Ken Sharpe urges Zimbos to celebrate the country’s success

Harare- Ask what you can do for your country and not what the country can do for you , echoed the voice of the late John F Kennedy!

It appears West Property chief executive Ken Sharpe concurs with that notion and has urged fellow country men to instill a spirit of patriotism and speak positive about good things happening in the country.

Sharpe shared the sentiments on the sidelines of the national clean campaign held at Greenwood Park Friday spearheaded by West Property in fulfilment of the promise they made last month.

He made emphasis on the fact that Zimbabwe is a safe destination for investment and she is endowed with vast of resources.

“Investors and tourists can only come to Zimbabwe through our testimonies. “What we testify of our country becomes a lived reality by outsiders and our children.
” We have to promote our country. Zimbabwe is our home, ” he said.
West Property has committed to sprucing up Greenwood Park through the provision of benches, upgrade the children play centre, repair or replace the broken down borehole and install sprinklers,” said Sharpe.

He said West Property has commited 10 percent of it’s profits towards corporate social responsibility programmes and part of that fund is channeled to upgrade the Greenwood park and make it a pristine facility that attracts visitors and enables communities to relax and get the zenith of quality entertainment.

West Property employees joined hordes of other people that included companies and Government officials to clean up the park.

According to the company authorities, this exercise will be subsisting for the whole of 2023.
