Chess and art event for all ages in Harare on Saturday
Harare – A chess and art festival for children and adults is set be held in Harare, Mt Pleasant this weekend on Saturday.
The event which is organized by Fortune Gandawa, the founder of Chess Mirrors Life Art, and the Chess Festival will be held on Saturday, 25 January at Art@84 which situated at 84 Pendennis Road in Mt Pleasant.
“We are inviting participating artists, and all creatives for networking, sharing industry expriences and discussing creative goals,” Gandawa told Express Mail Zim.
Another speaker scheduled to grace the festival is Rumbie Kath who is a leadership consultant.
Gandawa and Kath will be the main speakers from 8am to 10am before many activities that include chess playing and art.
Artists and chess players who wish to attend the festival will pay a $10 entrance charge for access to the event as well as refreshments.
