Warriors gets backing from businessman Collins Mnangagwa
Collins, an ardent follower of domestic football, has thrown his weight behind the team after he was gifted with a Luton Town shirt by Warriors Captain Marvelous Nakamba.
Harare- THE ZIMBABWE National Senior Soccer team have received the backing of businessman and philanthropist Collins Mnangagwa ahead of their decisive 2025 AFCON qualifiers encounter against Kenya this evening,Express Mail Zim can report.
The Warriors host Kenya at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, South Africa- where they need at least a draw to qualify for the AFCON finals to be hosted by Morocco.
The match starts at 6pm.
Michael Nees’ men need to avoid a defeat at all costs as this will give them the pressure to collect maximum points when they travel to Cameroon for their last match of the qualifying campaign next week.

“The message to the boys is simple, we want to qualify and they know how to make the nation proud.
“I have been in touch with some of the guys and I am confident they are going to make us proud,” he said.

He recently gave money to a number of upcoming artists in Shurugwi to launch their careers, a move that has seen people waxing lyrical about his gesture.
On the business side, Collins is the chief executive of mining firm, ZIMCN Investments and was recently honoured among the country’s Top 5 young chief executive officers (CEOs) by the Zimbabwe CEO’s Network.
