Norton:A shocking scandal has hit the Northern Region Soccer League following Norton FC’s 7-0 thrashing by Scotland FC. Allegations of fielding unregistered players and bribery have sparked outrage, prompting calls for the team’s expulsion.
Sources reveal Norton FC used players not registered with the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA), violating league regulations. This has led to demands for severe penalties.

Senior Norton FC players allegedly received USD$50 from MWOS as a motivational token to win against Scotland FC, raising concerns about match-fixing and corruption.

Norton FC has launched an internal investigation, confirmed by a social media post, to determine the facts surrounding the match.
The Northern Region Soccer League has written to Norton Community Football Club, seeking clarification on the allegations.

“Reference is made to a press release in circulation… kindly furnish us with your findings and determination thereof.”
